Native American Display at the Library

In honor of the indigenous people of this country the Turin Library has local and southwestern items on display through the month of November . The Lewis County Historical Society has loaned stone implements and arrowheads found in the county.  Winona Einhorn has graciously lent a Iroquois head dress, drum and many other items.  The southwestern artifacts are from the collection of Barb Oeschger of Lyonsdale.  Be sure to stop in to have a look at this fascinating display. the library hours are Monday 3-6:00, Wednesday 1-9:00 and Thursday 7-9:00. The display will be up for all of November and hopefully through December.
